Hillcrest Goods is a small business that creates hand made products based in Chicago, Illinois. What started as a love for sewing and giving back to her community turned into a blooming business for this artisan and full-time mother. She wanted a logo and brand that represented her hometown, Chicago, and that also expressed the warmth in which she creates her products. Using all natural and organic materials in her creations is a top priority as well as ensuring that a portion of her profits go to her local food depository. Through the blend of delicate typography, a softened traditional Chicago color pallet and the incorporation of the iconic “Chicago Star” I created a brand that represents this small business owner’s craft and tells her story.
